Alarms are set through what we call “Detectors”. The idea is that you set a number of Detectors to notify you whenever a specific pattern is identified on your data points.
Detectors for over/under energy use for specific time period or days can be set through our Customised Detectors. They allow you to be alerted when specific thresholds are met under various conditions.
For more dynamic alerts based on abnormal consumption patterns detected by our our Sentinel Analytics system, the “Unexpected Values Detection” detectors are what you need.
On your Dashboard’s Home tab, click on “Notifications Settings” and “Unexpected Values Detection”.

There you can see the list of existing detectors and you can add new detectors by clicking on the “New Detector” button. This will pop up a new window where you can select your data point for which you want to be notified.

You can set whether you want to receive notifications on your dashboard homepage feed only or via email and sms.
